Responsibilities:

Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.)
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
Track children’s progress and report to parents
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche.
Provide daily care for young children (including toileting and diaper changing).
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility. (preferred)

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Crouthers Academy is a full-day educational child care program for working parents with children ages six weeks through six years. We provide each child with a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in which they can grow and learn at their own pace.

Each center is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the center, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of each center.
