About the Role:

We are seeking a Bilingual Kitchen Assistant to join our team at La Esperanza Child Development Center, LLC in Rio Rancho, NM. This role will involve assisting in the preparation of healthy meals and snacks for our young students while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and serving
Ensure kitchen areas are kept clean and sanitized
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

La Esperanza Child Development Center, LLC is a 5-Stars Spanish immersion early childhood education program. Our staff helps create wonderful childhood memories in children. We employ nurturing and fun people with a passion for working with children to help them succeed in society.
